Ascent Trip Report

Way cool HP for this type of HP. Easy to find and as Ben TR says, there will be a day that a house is built here and takes this one away. The subdivision is nice homes and the bluff is strangley pertruding sand bluff at the end of the peninsula on the eastern side of Chesapeake Bay. Rising 70 feet above the water, we were surprised to see a sandy beach and waves breaking against the shore. Walked down to see the shore better and back.

I would love to understand the geology of this sandy formation as the rest of the lots nearby were only 20 to 40 feet above sea level. We ate at the Stingray Restaurant nearby local place and the food was good!
