stayed at nice, large campsite just past Crown Valley (N 36 degrees, 56.941", W118 degrees, 50.817"); crossed Crown Creek and took Secor's suggested long-cut up to the ridge and down to the Dome. Probably went too far left to find Cl 5 route up Dome.
