Ascent Trip ReportReally nice summit despite modest height - nearly 360 degrees view. View of Mégantic and most of the other well known mountains of the area, though couldn't see to Washington since it was a bit hazy. Trail was moderate throughout. Really enjoyed this mountain, feels off the beaten path, yet just 1 hour drive from Sherbrooke. Only saw one other pair of hikers all day. Even with an auto road that goes to the summit, saw nobody else on top. Only slight disappointment was that the waterfall at the beginning was completely dry (perhaps not surprisingly considering the summer we've had), but on the other hand, the trail was dry as well, as it looks it may get muddy at times.
