Ascent Trip Report

Our final day of climbing in central Idaho was to tackle this most interesting of Lemhi peaks. We camped near the cabin as this was the only location in the canyon with water, the rest of the stream bed was bone dry. We opted for a predawn start of 4am and made the ridge a couple hours later using Dennis' directions. The climb up the summit Bell was probably the most enjoyable climb I have done to date. Downclimbing the ridge back into the canyon however was fairly awful. Thanks to Troy and Steven for joining me on this three day jaunt to Idaho.
