Ascent Trip Report

Today we summitted Wright Peak...two down, 44 to go! The last half mile to the summit boulders was quite the windy run. We dropped packs at the "Wright" cutoff and bee lined for the summit. It was 0 degrees but with the wind, it was -25!!! Holy Cold! The top was devoid of snow and we could easily see Marcy and Whiteface as well as Algonquin which towered above us. We plan on bagging that one later as Mt Marcy is under 7' of snow on the summit and is a no-go :-(
What a trip!
