Ascent Trip ReportWe found the turnaround where the tower used to be without any trouble. Logging equipment and huge piles of logs were just to the south of the paved road. The benchmark is still there, but it is majorly scratched and scuffed up. We assume it is due to plow trucks or the logging equipment driving over it now that the tower no longer protects it. A boulder in the woods to the west of the highpoint appeared to be slightly higher and there was also a pile of rocks near the log stacks, but those were almost certainly human placed. A reward of a narrow vista is allowed by a power line cut to the west. For a Wisconsin 19er, we felt like this drive up was too easy.
