Ascent Trip Report14th ADK Peak! Following our ascent of Nye, we quickly moved on to ascent Street. Street was similar to Nye, and quite a bit of work had been done to help clear the trail. While we did need to step over or under blowdown from time to time, a clear herd path defined the trail. Although Street and Nye are unmarked or unmaintained, we did not have a concern of "losing our way" on either trail. Street appears to be about twice as far from the trail junction as Nye (which was only about a 10 minute hike to the summit). Like Nye, Street's summit is wooded and viewless. A tree has been carved to indicate the summit area. A lookout area can be found a short walk from the summit. We returned via the same route we had ascended, discussing our plans to climb a few more peaks the following day.
Highlights: views on short path following summit, ease of finding summit/following herd path, navigating blowdown, Finishing 1st 2 unmaintained, unmarked peaks.
