Ascent Trip Report

First hike in a long time trying to get my legs ready for hiking. Was amazing seeing the bativa kill as low as it was. This hike is not challenging or blood pumping. Went up from Big Hollow Rd in Maplecrest via Black Dome trail. Hike up Acra Point was mostly walking with a very small scramble. Headed back to col and went up Burnt Knob. BK was a little steeper but short. I started hiking toward Windham but wasnt sure how far it was, until i read the post sign when i got back, was only .5 mi from where i was so I wish i just hit up Windham as well.

Weather was nice, low 70s. Views a bit hazy but still beautiful views and pleasant sitting on the ledges soaking up the sun. Since the hike was so quick i took a nap on BK overlook until some wierd bird swooped right over me and scared the crap out of me, not sure what that was about. Saw a few trail runners and an family hiking up on descent.

Im going to start measuring my hikes in mcgriddles. This hike combining both acra point and burnt knob was very easy, i would say it would only burn off 1.2McG (mcgriddle measuring unit).
