Ascent Trip ReportParked at Pinkham Notch Center and started up Old Jackson Rd at about 1730.Quickly made my way to the suspension bridge, while chatting with a couple groups headed in the other direction. After that, I wouldnt see another person the rest of the night.Ascended via Madison Gulf trail, which was a little tricky to follow at times around the stream crossings. The extended period of open, exposed, and steep rock was a welcoming and fun challenge.Took the Parapet trail to Osgood and was on the summit just after sunset at 2040.There was still an incredible afterglow happening and I sat and admired it for about 30 minutes.Put on my headlamp, and followed the Osgood trail down til it met Madison Gulf trail. The suspension bridge crossing was a little creepy in the dark, but for some reason made me laugh. The rest of the trip uneventful and was back at parking at 0025.
