Ascent Trip ReportBeautiful Cold day for a hike. First winter hike and first of 4 required summits in the 3500 club. There was ice the moment we exited the car. Needed cramp-ons all day. The day went smooth and we came across many people out hiking. Giant Ledge offered its usual spectacular views. Woodland Valley was covered in ice. Beautiful. Continued to Panther as the temps started to warm enough to start melting the ice on the trees. We started to get bombed by ice falling from the tree limbs. Made for some fun on the trail. All told we had a enjoyable day.
