Ascent Trip ReportLoop from Rider Hollow PA. Went up Mine Hollow Trail and came down Rider Hollow (Oliverea-Mapledale) Trail. Trails were very icy. Approx. 4-6" snow remaining on summit. Beautiful day although the views were a bit hazy. This completed my required winter ascent of Balsam and my last of the four required winter hikes.
