Start: from car park at col, close to summit. 8km NE of Artemare.
Route: paths lead S to main summit and N to lower summit
Trig point: Summit: 15cm stone block, large + with central rivet with concentric circles marking top surface. “Witches hat” shelter similar to Mont Trelod, L’Etale etc
Pylon: mapped trig not found (surely didn’t use the pylon itself?)
Notes: the third of five easy "P600" summits in the area, which I visited in a single day.
Busy, popular picnic spot etc. Beautiful Table d’Orientation on N summit; hazy views. 3 Swallowtail butterflies; Carthusian Pink; Yellow Monkshood.
