Ascent Trip Report

I began this hike at Wilbur's Clearing and took the AT to the summit. On the way, I bagged Mount's Fitch and Williams. The New England forests are beautiful and this stretch of the trail is no exception.

The peak has nice views, and like Mt. Washington, has a parking lot on top. You will have to share the summit with crowds of people. This day it wasn't too crowded. There is a huge monument at the summit topped with a glass ball lantern. I think the monument is dedicated to all Massachusetts' citizens that have died in combat.

Great view of North Adams. Tons of side trails for me to explore in the future.
