Ascent Trip Report

The trailhead for the Baldy Mt.Trail is on FR134 about 12 mi. from the forest boundary. The small sign is easy to miss. I didn't actually expect to make it all the way to Baldy Mt. today since I had already done two peaks and it was late in the day. I intended to scope out the route for a future climb. It's a well constructed trail. A few downed trees--as most trails in this forest district. Ascends steadily for the first mile to an abandoned forest road. Head left on it. It meanders through some meadows before heading up again.
