Ascent Trip ReportThere are a number of claimant bumps to the title of New Forest high point near the B road between Telegraph Hill and Piper's Wait. The two trig points are lower than (a) the ground nera Telegraph Hill car park, with a mound immediately north of the entrance seeming marginally highest; (b) the next rise to the south at Homy Ridge; (c) the highest tussock on the south side of the spur road to Piper's Wait car park. My altimeter couldn't distinguish between the heights of the first two of these, and reckoned the third lower: the height differences are very slight.
