Ascent Trip ReportA very enjoyable, moderate climb. Difficulty is the long distance for whole trip at approx. 14 miles. Above 11,500 feet the grade becomes very steep and the trail is not maintained but is just a path through fields of granite stones and bolders. Very highly recommend this climb for those willing to do the distance. This mid-June climb featured snow fields in protected areas on the north and east face of old Baldy and the surrounding peaks.
