Ascent Trip Report

... tried reaching Walling Mtn by way of Basin Pond Red Trail, managing a circular bushwacking of old overgrown logging roads before going up and over summit and reaching down to the Appalachian Trail. Then able to hike / jog again, I managed to lose AT making my way to Becket Mtn now via road trails needing to bushwack a short distance up to summit again to AT down to Becket Road and Basin Pond TH.
