Ascent Trip ReportOn our vacation in the Canadian Rockies, we took a hike up to the lookout point on Castle Mountain. The mountain is epic - it's peak seems unattainable - it's a jagged rock ridge which shoots up into the clouds. We started around 2:30pm and ended at 5pm, barely beating the rain and giving ourselves plenty of time to take in the magnificent views. Amazing scenery. Brice and I build an "Inukshuk" at one point on the trail to identify when the hard part was about to start (it was actually a pretty vertical climb).
