Ascent Trip ReportWas a sunny, windy day at times. Great weather for hiking. We climbed the wooden stairs at the trailhead and never stopped climbing till the summit. I'm really in good shape. I never tired during the climb. At one point I slipped and cut my arm. Chris got out the first aid kit and fixed me all up, including cutting some skin that was hanging off my arm. He did a great job. He knew what to do from his teaching during his first aid merit badge. The first view was the better of the two, with very nice westerly mts. We rested then went on to Danny's lookout. Great views of the Blackhead Range. Continued on till we met up with theMink Hollow Tr. Realized we went to far and turned around. We finished up hiking about 7mi.
