Ascent Trip ReportBeautiful day hike. First summit for the ultimate goal of the 3500 Club. My son Chris is also working on his hiking merit badge. Hiked a lot of the Catskills in the 80's and am now doing it with my son. This time is much more rewarding. We had a lot of bird life and even had some life birds. Also had two differant kinds of Admiral Butterflies. Both equally beautiful. Finished the hike strong and am ready for the next one.
