Ascent Trip Report

The new trail up Coney is a breeze to hike and the 360-degree views from the bald summit--after roughly 500 feet of elevation gain--must make this one of the most family friendly, big-bang-for-your-buck hikes in all the Adirondacks. Summit views in all directions seemed limitless (the Sewards and Santanoni were quite easy to pick out) and the intimate vista north towards Goodman fueled my urge to bushwhack the latter...
