Ascent Trip ReportThought about accessing this one from the freeway, but didn't know how to get over the park fence. Bought a park pass and accessed the hill from the east end of the loop road by walking towards the old east entrance to the park. A scramble up the hill from there was not too bad. Some bones and carcasses on the way up, looked like elk or very large deer. One tick on the way up, another found later. Nasty little things. Wandered the top, found a cairn and signed a highpoint list of paper tucked into a rusted can. Made our way down.
