Ascent Trip ReportFollowing Folly Peak, Aidan and I contoured our way southwest around 10,400 ft per the HPS guide towards the trail. We dropped to 10,300 ft or so and caught the trail for a few short meters before heading south towards the saddle east of Newton Drury Peak. The going was easy with little undergrowth and well spaced trees. The walk up from the saddle to the peak was very nice and Aidan and I enjoyed the first half of our lunch on the summit. This was the only peak of the day to feature a register, which was full of a lot of friends of mine. We signed in, ate half our lunch, and left the peak, headed for Jean Peak, directly to our east.
