Ascent Trip ReportPiper Trail. Due to the elevation, I only made it about 3/4 of the way to the summit. This was the first hike that encountered a problem with ear pressure and vertigo symptoms. Will try this again, knowing to stop for about 20 to 30 minutes to allow my ears to adjust so that I can hopefully reach the summit. The others continued to the summit. We did get to meet the axe-toting guy that adopted this trail.
