Ascent Trip Report

I initially missed the turnoff to the Boundary/Iroquois herd path and ended up descending 400-500 feet on the Colden trail. After figuring out my mistake, I found my way to the VERY muddy path to Boundary and then Iroquois. Despite the brief setbacks, the path to Iroquois was one of my favorite parts of the trip. Despite overpopulation on Algonquin, very few people (5 while I was there) went the extra distance to Iroquois. Even harder than the initial elevation gain leading to the summit of Algonquin was the re-ascent of said peak from Iroquois. Views back to/from both Boundary and Iroquois are unlike any I've seen in either the Adirondacks or Catskills...
