Ascent Trip Report

This was the 3rd time I have hiked this trail. My friend Leo and I were had lost quite a bit of weight that year. We rewarded ourselves by taking a long weekend hiking trip to W. NC. In addition to bagging this peak, we also hiked Mount LeConte. Great trip.

I have also been at this point with members of my immediate family including my mom, sisters, and nephews. It is really a beautiful place. The true balds really open up your view and the experience on a clear day is unmatched. This trail is so short, I recommend anyone that can walk, go find and hike this trail.
