Ascent Trip Report

After a fairly rugged approach in 4WD HC vehicles, we parked at a turnout and began hiking up the dirt road. The road is pleasant, tree-covered (or shadowed) for much of the way. At the top of this "sacred" mountain is lots of microwave/radio equipment, and even a two-seater pit toilet - no waiting to go when your buddy also needs to! The view is terrible due to the trees surrounding the summit, so I climbed the radio mast to get above the trees to get some photos.
