Ascent Trip ReportStarting at the Denning trailhead, I hiked to Peekamoose after first crossing Table Mountain. The trail is clear and well-maintained. On the way, muddy patches were rare and all bridges were structurally sound.
The heat and lack of sleep in the week leading up to my hike resulted in some leg cramping, particularly on the re-ascent of Peekamoose. To get ANY kind of views (Peekamoose and Table are wooded), one needs to climb OVER the mountain and back down it's southern slope about 300 feet to find a viewpoint. My physical issues notwithstanding, views were open and clear and I was able to identify a number of area peaks and landmarks.
