Ascent Trip Report

Summit post gave me accurate directions to the entrance of the trail head. There is about a 5 mile windy drive on a very narrow paved country road. At the gate, park and walk to the summit. It was 1.5 miles over a dirt road. The summit is covered with microwave towers/cell towers. The US Army had a radio facility there..looks like something from WWII and the 'Cold War'.The Bench mark is found on the sw outside of the Army Enclosure. Nice walk. Recommend doing this in the early AM as it gets quite hot in no time at all.
