Ascent Trip ReportToday was the start to the summer for hiking, hopefully a good one, Kevin and i set off for this 4K footer, only a few more left in NH left. we left the car at 9:00 AM and we were back at the car believe it or not by 12:00. 3hr RT on this guy. they say its 2.8 to the top and 2.8 back, impressive i know :) but this was a good hike but it was a bit hot, and we had a water problem... yes ran out :( we actually well kevin sat in the river lol..we did end up seeing a moose and a deer. overall it was a good hike and i'd love to do it again soon. i would recommend this hike to mid hikers, i wouldn't encourage young hikers to climb this one, there was a few steep spots. but i would not like going over from north peak to east peak or vise versa, but just my recommendation. but way to kick off the summer hiking.
