Ascent of Mount Hancock on 1998-06-13| Date: | Saturday, June 13, 1998 | | Ascent Type: | Unsuccessful - Turned Back | | Peak: | Mount Hancock | | Location: | USA-New Hampshire | | Elevation: | 3000 ft / 914 m |
Ascent Trip ReportTons of rain, streams not safe to pass. Spent a long night halfway to cutoff socked in and no luck crossing next morning. A rare fruitless trip, but continuing on would have been very dangerous. Did hike twice helping people get out.
