Ascent Trip ReportCrossed this summit on my way to Brasstown Bald. The top of this peak has a great open slab of rock. On my way back down from Brasstown, with a full stomach from lunch, the sun was strong enough to make this slab too inviting for a warm nap. I took off my shoes, traded my jeans for shorts, and took about a twenty minute nap. I had the whole mountain top to myself. One of the best breaks I've had on a trail.
