Ascent Trip Report

Beautiful day on Mt Si. No low-level clouds; could easily see the Olympics and Mts Baker and Shuksan over 90 miles away. Some low-level haze still nearly obscured downtown Seattle. Weekday afternoon, so only a few people on the trail. Maybe 50ft of packed snow left on the trail below the haystack, otherwise dry the whole way. Returned by way of the Talus Loop for a change. It added about .4 mile and almost 100 feet of extra elevation gain.
