Ascent Trip Report

After a few weeks off to heal an injury, this hike was the first test. All went well. Nice day - starting to feel like summer is coming. Water crossings were less of an issue than anticipated, but we were surprised to see some significant erosion (from Irene?) on Cedar brook trail. Wow! Lots of standing water too. Just a bit of ice on the way up South Hancock, and minimal monorail left between the peaks. No snow or ice from North Hancock down. Wore boots - but *wish* we had gone with trail runners. Nice hike.
