Ascent Trip Report

This was a grunge county, for sure. This probably took me 4 years and 5 attempts. Was able to get the candidates in the woods on two trips. The southern candidates in the fields were tough, as there was corn when I went in July and August. This year I went to do the ones west of Smyrna, and bingo, the fields were either fallow, or so low as to be easy. Also, driving about early on a Sunday probably helped, as well. Some people probably look at Delaware as easy, but I can attest that it is anything but. But getting the last 13 or so candidates done was worth it. My first green state.
