Ascent Trip Report

I parked just off Müggelheimer Damm, on the corner with Straße zum Müggelhort, and then wandered through the forest on good trails from there. When getting close to the "summit" from the west and south sides, you should see a couple of signs advising "Zum höchsten Berg Berlins" (To Berlin's highest mountain). That final trail leads up to a bump with a rock on top marked with an engraved cross. Continuing another 50 or so metres along the trail brings you to another bump with a survey marker (stone with a metal marker implanted in it). Here I also found a sign announcing that this was the highest point (and the very detailed statement 114.80 metres). Note that this sign had been broken off both supports, so who know if it'll still be there in the future as the area is very accessible...

A pleasant walk through the forest in any case.
