Ascent Trip ReportI took the gorge trail up. It was a fun trail, starting like a simple hike through the woods, turning into a boulder climb/ hike up a dried out riverbed. It had rained the day before, so climbing on all the rocks posed a challange, as they were very slippery. Once the riverbed ends most of the tree line fades away. Then it turns into a granite sheer cliff wall, but there are plenty of foot holds. The summit is very nice, very busy, and one can see about twenty different license plates from different states at the top. Over all, the climb was hard, fun, and had great views.
