Ascent Trip Report

This was a very hard climb. The elevation gain is over 4,000 ft. I started at pinkham notch early in the morning, and I took the tuckerman ravine trail/ lion head trail to the top. It took me 2 hours and 50 minutes to make the summit. The climb down was the hardest point, several times I caught myself from falling down the cliffs. The weather was good, often times it could be snowing at the top while it is in the 80's at the bottom. I was glad for the good weather, because the day before the report claimed that it was sleeting at the top, and everyone had to turn around.
