Ascent Trip Report

I did this drive up because I noticed on my computer map that it was less than 2 mi. from my room at the Ruidoso Super 8. From the intersection of 70 and 48 head back towards Tularosa. In about a mile turn right on Lancashire Lane, right (quickly) on Cambridge, left on Warwick, left on Guinivere. You will soon be in an upscale real estate development. Look for water tanks on the left. the hp is at their base. I parked at a turnaround about a hundred yards north of the water tanks. Two extraordinarily tame deer watched me walk by and never budged even though I passed within 30 feet of them.
