Ascent Trip ReportRain/snowed the night before, so we started our hike in cool cloudy conditions - but rocks dried fast. Quick climb to Angels Landing, enjoyed the steep, exposed final part of the climb along the chains to the summit. Great views from top. Finished by 10am, so we decided to extend our hike a few more miles up the West Rim trail before descending back to canyon floor. Great hike - left the crowds behind and saw some less traveled parts of the canyon. Good covering of snow up high - not ideal in trail runners.
