Ascent Trip Report

I followed directions from previous reports to the front door of the owner's house. A little boy answered the door and brought his mother to talk with me. When I explained my purpose there she said "sure" to climbing up across her field and even offered that "we've got a little road up there--take the first drive to the right a few yards north." The "road" turned out to be a jeep track that no one had gone up for a while and it had waste high grass. I actually have a Jeep, but I still decided to park and walk. It's only a quarter mile up, and the grass was too thick to see any potential obstacles. Maybe on another occasion the grass will be cut and you could actually drive in.

The previous report (Covills) argued that the high point is over the fence at the top of the hill through some trees and brambles. I hopped the fence to make sure, but I'm not convinced it's worth the trouble. What looked higher from one side of the fence looked like it might be the other way around from the other side.
