|Others in Party:||Several members of the AMC. Leader was Barbara Audin.|
|Date:||Saturday, April 28, 2012|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Location:||USA-New Hampshire|
| Elevation:||4802 ft / 1463 m|
Ascent Trip ReportRavine Lodge Road was closed so we had to hike in 1.6 miles to begin at the trailhead. The day started with snow showers and overcast conditions, very cold and windy. Once at the summit, the sky was clear, though still cold and windy. The trail was a moderate grade with snow and ice on the trail. We used traction on both the ascent and descent. Part of the trail was still washed out as a result of Hurricane Irene in 2011 and therefore we had to bushwack for about 200 feet.
