Ascent Trip Report... followed AT south from Rte 341 to Chapel Pond Hill, then descended to col & crossed Chapel Pond Rd (met a couple of snakes area around sunning themselves) to lumber road skirting Chapel Pond west to clearing below summit. A quick steep bushwack up avoiding some ledge, the rock at times easier to walk than the leaf litter, through mostly open woods to an obvious height of ground erratic sprinkled. Back on Chapel Pond Road found Ben Lostracco's woods road alongside Thayer Brook back to AT with a detour to Mt Algo summit, met a trail runner running strongly uphill me getting back to my descent and somewhat jog to TH.
