Ascent Trip Report

We were just going to hike Clingmans Dome and Mount Love, but The Great Explorer elected to continue up Mount Collins. Tough hike for her but she did it with style. My GPS showed a trail complex on the north side of the mountain that would take us to the Clingmans Dome road, but it isn't there any more. Instead we continued to the Fork Ridge Trail and headed to the road. I left her there with the packs and jogged/walked back to the Clingmans Dome parking lot to get the car.
