Ascent Trip Report

earth day climb

11:08 - Parked car at the intersection of Bliss and Tilda. I started on the trail immediately across the street and stayed left because there was an unfriendly looking dog at the house on the right. After ~.25 mile - the trail terminated at a new road - AH HA, the 50' wide clearings others mentioned. Turns out the new road goes right up to the ridge and summit. There a bunch of new footings being installed and my guess is there will soon be 8-12 giant wind turbines installed on the ridge. The "summit" has been bulldozed so I climbed the highest dirt mound at the construction site which is higher than the old summit location.

Recommendation: Walk ~150 feet past the bliss/tilda intersection and just follow the road up instead of walking through the woods.
