Ascent Trip ReportThe first hike of 2012 with Alan, Andy, Kevin and Peg.
This moderate loop hike over Mount Morgan, Mount Percival, Mount Squam offered great lake Squam and mountain views from each summit, as well as the option to experience ladders (Morgan) and caves (Percival).
Started at the Mount Percival Trailhead at 10 am, along Mount Morgan Trail to Mt Morgan, along Crawford-Ridgepole Trail to Mt Percival and stopped for lunch. Walked along CR trail further to Mt. Squam (2pm) and turned back to Mt. Percival. Then enjoyed both cliff and cave route down Mt Percival to Mount Percival Trail, back to the trailhead by 5pm.
It was a nice and easy first hike of the year with great weather.
