Ascent Trip ReportParked at the junction with FR 507 and took the road all the way to the top. There is a small black and white sign at 8600' stating a red squirrel refugium is ahead, with a no entry notice. I noticed it on the way down. Many entries in the summit register, and I'm not sure how much of a refuge this is any more after the big burn that seems to have killed a huge swath of trees. Still some snow on the approach.
