Ascent Trip ReportAfter breakfast at Starbucks, Brad & I headed up to Mt. Baldy Village. The gruelling Bear Canyon Trail was even more challenging as a result of plenty of snow starting 9000 feet. Beautiful, sunny day and we met over a dozen folks on the mountain, mostly hiking up the Ski Hut Trail. This prompted us to descend via the Ski Hut Trail and we hitched a ride down to the village where our car was parked. It took us 5:30 to get to summit and 2:30 to descend with a half-hour spent on the summit.
