Ascent Trip Report

An otherwise easy walk up a road, but everything was covered in snow and lots was falling as we were hiking up to the lookout tower, which was locked. Fell and hurt my surgically-repaired shoulder near the end of the hike, but fortunately did no structural damage. Hike on the road was out and back, but we accidentally passed our turnoff and had to backtrack to a different trail. It was so cold when we started, that no one wanted to wait long enough for my GPS to acquire satellites, and it didn't do so while we were moving. Hence missing the correct turnoff.
