Ascent Trip Report

During the Easter holidays, the whole family took a mini-tour to Benelux in order to "climb" the three national highpoints. The Dreilander Punkt at Vaalserberg - with its great maze and belvedere - was absolutely worth a visit also for non-collectors of highpoints. The other two were clearly less memorable and rather "impossible" to reach by foot (basically you could stay in the car and still be at the top…). And yes, we also went to the Buurgplaatz a couple of hundred meters away, in order to make sure that we have been at the Luxembourg high point. We stayed in Aachen at the German side of the border and also had time to spend a beautiful spring day in Brussels before heading back home.
